Dloco

Dloco is a proposed non-profit company that will develop clean water infrastructure in Haiti. Dloco's first site (its proof of concept) is to be located along a sues (Kreyol for "small stream") on the border of Chambellan and Cadette in the Department de la Grand 'Anse. The below video [RIGHT] shows the sues to be utilized. We shot the video in February 2022 which is the region's dry season.

The below vignette (LEFT) was created to convey some key insights that guide Dloco's efforts. The other video [CENTER] presents three giant development plans in Haiti that have all failed/ never proceeded. We present this as examples of what not to do to try to develop Haiti, i.e. mega top-down plans.
